You will be implementing business logic and features, building backend APIs, scale out existing infrastructure on Magento 2.X. You may also be called in to implement ML / AI apps including Content Personalization, Chatbots, Recommendation Engines.

Required Skills:
  • Object Oriented PHP 7.x
  • Module Development Experience with Magento 2.x
  • Magento 2 Developer Certification preferred
  • Performance optimization experience
  • Strong algorithmic, data structures, computational complexity, computer security skills
  • Strong database skills on MySQL
  • A minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience with back-end engineering and 2+ years on Magento 1.x or 2.x

Shoptimize is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our eCommerce Platform and AI teams.

What you’ll do:

You will work with a team of software engineers and data scientists to build new capabilities into our eCommerce Platform and AI applications. 

  • You will build clean, high performing, multi-lingual, data-driven user experiences for our eCommerce sites.
  • You will develop personalized mobile-friendly frontends that provide high conversion rates and revenues. 
  • You will build innovative headless eCommerce frontends, PWAs, conversational UIs that utilize our AI and Personalization capabilities.
  • You will help our marketing teams with A/B testing, visualizing customer journeys, and providing deeper insights into shopper behaviour. You will provide actionable recommendations that will improve user experience on our applications. 
  • You will collaborate with business, product managers and technical teams across the company and our customers.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, as needed.

Skills needed:

  • Strong knowledge of core Javascript, ReactJS, Angular, VueJS and other modern frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CSS3 / Less / Sass and modern JS build ecosystem
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and NodeJS
  • Understanding of B2C user experience metrics from industry standard analytics tools
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, mobile first design, and best practices

Shoptimize is looking for a customer focused and service-minded individual to join our Customer Solutions team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical assistance to our Merchants to resolve issues pertaining to our eCommerce software platform.  
The Technical Support Engineer will address incidents within predetermined service levels, requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
In addition, the Incumbent will carry out projects as assigned and work cross-functionally with other departments in providing our customers with a world class support experience.

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Actively manage client’s digital journeys including website operations, performance, and growth strategies including digital marketing and organic initiatives
